$50 from the Steelworks Center of the West for the project that best utilized materials from the CF&I archives: Jack Johnson, Emily Norbury, and Sarah Sanchez from Pueblo West High School (PWHS) for their documentary, “Vladimir Putin: Return of the Cold Warrior.”
$50 from the Chicano Studies Department at CSU-Pueblo for the project that best addressed Latino history: Perla Trevizo from PWHS for her exhibit, “Emiliano Zapata: Libertad, Justicia, Y Ley.”
$50 from the El Pueblo Museum and the Los Amigos Volunteer Organization for the project that best addressed Colorado History: Katie Peterson from Las Animas High School for her performance, “Margaret Brown: Beyond the Titanic.”
