Civil War Events at CSU-Pueblo in January

Don’t miss these exciting events marking the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War at CSU-Pueblo!  A great opportunity for History Day students and educators alike.

Civil War 150: Exploring the War and its Meaning Through the Words of Those who Lived it.  This exhibition will be on display in the CSU-Pueblo Library lobby from January 12th through February 2nd.

On Wednesday, January 14th, an all-day Civil War Living History Event will take place at the CSU-Pueblo Library, featuring members of different Civil War units and civilians.

On Thursday, January 29th, a Chautauqua presentation will be given by Dr. Enrique Lamadrid in the OUC Ballroom.  Dr. Lamadrid will appear in character as Rafael Chacón, a soldier who fought in the American Southwest during the Civil War.
