We’d like to extend a big THANK YOU to Maria Tucker at the InfoZone News Museum and archivist Tammi Moe from the Rawlings Library! Tammi’s presentation on primary sources and Maria’s presentation on research and library resources were very informative for History Day student researchers. Maria even showed students the Rawlings “vault” where their most valuable materials are stored!
Students are welcome to stop by the library anytime for research assistance, and teachers are encouraged to contact Maria to set up research sessions for their classes. Call Maria at (7 19) 553-0205 or email Maria.Tucker@pueblolibrary.org. Whatever your research needs, the staff at the Rawlings Library is there to help!
Can’t make it to the library? Visit the Rawlings Library’s ever-expanding Digital Collection for local and regional research resources–and don’t forget these Online Resources and Databases that can be accessed from school or home.
Tammi explained what her job as an archivist entails. Click here to read more about what archivists do and why they’re so important! Interested in becoming a research librarian, like Maria? Read more about librarians here!
