Student Research Opportunity at the CF&I Archives!

Need some assistance with your History Day project?  The CF&I Archives are opening their doors to students for a special day of hands-on research.

On January 18th, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., students conducting research for National History Day projects will be given access to the CF&I Archives (AND free admission to the Steelworks Museum!).

The CF&I Archives collection contains primary source material such as documents, photographs, publications, maps, drawings, and financial ledgers.  Some possible National History Day research areas include: industrialization, mining, steelmaking, labor relations, gender studies, corporate history, immigration to the American West, industrial medicine, and much more!

Two special prizes will be awarded during the competition on March 1st for projects that best utilize the CF&I Archives.
